Gidea Park

The Edwardian show home nobody ever took down·Greater London·London

Gidea Park is the part of Romford that would prefer you didn't mention Romford, which is awkward, because Romford is printed on every envelope. Before the First World War, a crowd of Edwardian architects were handed a few streets and a prize for the best house. The residents have been judging each other's front gardens ever since. Now the Elizabeth line stops at the station, so the trip into the City got shorter, and the asking prices heard about it before the buyers did.
