Rush Green, London
Rush Green is the patch of Romford that two boroughs share, mostly a crossroads with shops on it and streets of semis organised around getting into Romford. The maternity hospital that delivered a good chunk of this corner of east London was flattened for housing, so plenty of locals can now buy a three-bed on the spot where they were born and call it moving up. West Ham shifted their training ground here from Chadwell Heath, just up the road, which is about as far as anyone round here goes when they say they're relocating.
