Tell us which place, which question, and what looks wrong. Every answer we publish is built from public data, lists its main sources and carries the date we last checked it, so if a number is off it is usually either the source or the way we read it. Both are worth knowing about, and we would rather hear it from you than not at all. Our corrections policy says what happens next.

Requests about personal data go to the same address. What we hold and why is set out in our privacy policy.
What we cannot help with
We cannot advise on a specific purchase, value a property, or act for you with a council, a lender or a surveyor. Everything here is background reading built from public data, meant to help you ask better questions of the people who can do those things.
