Cam
Cam calls itself a village, which takes some nerve for a place that has grown so far into Dursley that the two now share a railway station and finish each other's streets. The Cotswolds begin at the edge of it. That's close enough for the estate agent's particulars and far enough that the walking boots mostly stay in the car boot. The houses are mostly post-war and make no apology for it. Cam is for people who wanted the hills in view and a supermarket in reach, and it is honest enough to admit which one gets used more.
