Wooburn
Wooburn is where Beaconsfield money goes when it wants the river within a stroll and can live without a station of its own. It runs into Wooburn Green at one end and Bourne End at the other. The only thing stopping all three becoming one long ribbon of loft conversions along the A4094 is a field the residents have been defending since the nineties. Everyone here owns a car, a hedge and an opinion about that field.
