Toddington, Bedfordshire

A hilltop village better known as a toilet stop·Bedfordshire·East of England

Most of the country knows Toddington as a motorway services, the place you buy a sandwich you'll regret by Milton Keynes. The village itself is half a mile up the road, on a hill high enough to look down on Flitwick and Harlington, and some residents treat that height as a personal achievement. It has the big green and the old church of a proper village, and the M1 junction is close enough that most of the village uses it as the back door.
