St Albans

Built by Romans, priced by London·Hertfordshire·East of England

St Albans is London money pretending it moved to the countryside, with a cathedral and a Roman wall as proof. Boudica burnt the place to the ground in the year 61, and nobody has picked up a bargain here since. The people who paid extra for the abbey view now spend most weekdays in the box room with their back to it, on video calls to the office they moved here to escape.
