Hextable
Hextable's most famous resident wrote an encyclopedia for children, then looked around his own village and declared it had no history, which is the kind of review most places would pay to have taken down. A Victorian once left the village's children a recreation ground in perpetuity, and perpetuity lasted exactly as long as it took for the land to look more useful as houses. What Hextable has instead of a past is a commute: a dormitory village that was built to put people on the train at Swanley and has never once pretended to be about anything else.
