Addlestone
Addlestone runs the whole of Runnymede and still gets sold by estate agents as handy for Weybridge. The council, the police and the library share one civic centre, so the borough's planning rows, its arrests and its overdue books all end up under the same roof. The proudest monument in town is an oak where legend has Elizabeth I stopping for a picnic, and it has outlived an aircraft factory, a bus works and someone trying to set fire to it. Doing the work while somewhere else takes the bow is the family trade: Addlestone built the aeroplanes, and Brooklands flew them.
