Threemilestone

Threemilestone is named after how far it is from somewhere else, which tells you everything about the ambition on display. It grew up as the bit of Truro that couldn't fit in Truro, and it has spent the decades since doing an impression of a village while functioning as a car park with houses attached. The bungalows are unbothered, the retail sheds are winning, and the hospital down the road means half the people you meet are either treating someone or being treated. Nobody moves here for the romance, and nobody who lives here pretends otherwise.
