Marylebone
Marylebone renamed itself after a church because the villagers were tired of being known for the gallows, and it has managed its image with the same care ever since. Oxford Street does the shoving along the bottom edge, while the high street behind it sells sourdough to people who would never describe what they do there as shopping. Harley Street handles the private consultations, Regent's Park handles the dog, and a lot of the flats belong to companies whose registered address is an island. It is the most expensive way in London to pretend you live in a village.
