East Dulwich
East Dulwich is where people who wanted Dulwich Village end up, and most of them have dropped the "East" from their address by the second dinner party. Lordship Lane does the rest of the work, a high street that has turned the weekend flat white into something close to a civic duty. The pavements belong to the buggies, which meet three abreast and negotiate like rival ferry crossings. The whole place was built on land owned by the College of God's Gift, and sellers have priced it that way ever since.
