Wimborne Minster
Wimborne Minster is a market town that has spent four hundred years quietly deciding it has nothing left to prove, and it is right. The minster does the heavy work of looking ancient while the rest of the place gets on with the serious business of a Friday market and being twenty minutes from Poole without having to live in it. Farrow and Ball started here, which explains a great deal about the front doors. Nobody moves to Wimborne for excitement, and nobody who lives here has ever complained about that.
