Goffs Oak
Goffs Oak is named after an oak that fell in the 1950s, and its replacement came down in the 1987 storm, so the village has now lost the thing it is named after twice and carried on regardless. It still calls itself a village, which is quite a generous word for this many double driveways, parked just north of the M25 where London is close enough to commute to and far enough away to complain about. Victoria Beckham was raised here and left to become Posh, which plenty of the neighbours would call a sideways move.
