Tintagel

A cliff-top village built on a rumour·Cornwall·South West England

Tintagel has spent nine hundred years monetising a man who probably never existed, and it has got very good at it. The village sells sword-shaped rock and fudge to coach parties who came for a legend and leave with a receipt, then empties out by six and remembers it is a small cliff-top parish on the Atlantic where the wind does what it likes. Buy here and you inherit both versions: the one that pays the mortgage in August, and the one that stares at a grey sea in February wondering where everyone went. Arthur got the myth. You get the parking.
