Rustington

Rustington is what happens when a village decides it has done enough and would like everyone to please keep the noise down. J.M. Barrie came here for the quiet, wrote about a boy who refused to grow up, and left; most of Rustington's residents took the opposite lesson and grew up quite a lot, thank you. The seafront is genuinely lovely if you can find somewhere to park, which is the local sport. Come here to slow down, or come here by accident on the way to Littlehampton and end up staying twenty years.
