Rowland's Castle

A railway station pretending to be a village·Hampshire·South East England

Rowland's Castle is what happens when retired surgeons decide a village green and an hourly train to Waterloo are worth six hundred grand, and then post on Nextdoor about the bus timetable. The Normans built a castle here, then got bored and left, which turned out to be the template. Now it's mostly detached houses, the Conservative MP, and people who chose this over Emsworth because the harbour crowd seemed a bit much.
