Lyneham

Lyneham is a Wiltshire village where a big slice of the population lives behind a perimeter fence on somebody else's timetable, and everyone else has sensibly stopped asking what goes on in there. Out front it's post-war semis, a car on every drive and the road to Chippenham doing most of the socialising. The hamlet next door is called Sodom, and it is somehow even quieter. Buy here for the peace, because the peace is the one thing in Lyneham nobody else is competing for.
