Greenlands, Buckinghamshire

A newsagent's mansion now selling leadership by the hour·Buckinghamshire·South East England

Greenlands is a business school with some neighbours attached. The big house on the Thames was bought by the son of the man who founded W H Smith, and Jerome K. Jerome dismissed it as the dull riverside home of his newsagent, which is still the most honest review it has ever had. Now executives pay to learn leadership in a mansion paid for by selling newspapers at railway stations. The few people who actually live here get the river and the Chilterns, and on most weekdays they watch strangers in lanyards finding themselves on the lawn.
