Clutton

Clutton: coal, Domesday and the school that raised the Stark girl·Somerset·South West England

Clutton took its name from an Old English word for a rocky hill, though there is also a Celtic one knocking about that means hen's roost, and honestly the second sounds closer to the mark. The village spent centuries hauling coal out of the ground, and when the coal ran out it settled into the thing all former mining villages do best, which is sit very still and say nothing. Maisie Williams went to the primary school here before leaving to go and rule Westeros, which remains the most aspirational use anyone has found for the road out.
