Bath, Somerset

A World Heritage Site with a parking problem·Somerset·South West England

Bath is a city that got told it was beautiful in 1750 and has been dining out on it ever since. Everything is the same colour, by law, and the people who live there will explain that law to you at a dinner party until you want to go and live somewhere ugly on purpose. It is a genuinely gorgeous place to walk around and an exhausting place to own a window. Two thousand years of tourists have come to sit in the warm water, and every single one of them has parked badly.
