Bushey
Bushey is where the Northern line was meant to end up, until the Green Belt arrived and made sure it never did, which tells you most of what you need to know about who wins arguments round here. The half-built depot became a bus garage, got a part in a Cliff Richard film and retired as an industrial estate, a better career than most railways that actually opened. Bushey Heath used to be thick with highwaymen relieving London traders of their money on the road to Stanmore. These days estate agents do that job, and they have nicer cars.
