Bruton is what happens when a Somerset market town gets discovered by people who own galleries, and then spends the next decade pretending it hasn't noticed. The river still floods, the school still hoovers up the county's brightest, and the Georgian frontages still look exactly as they did before anyone from Zurich turned a derelict farm into an art destination. The trick Bruton pulls is looking utterly unbothered by any of it while quietly charging accordingly.
