Polruan
Polruan is a village that spent five hundred years building ships and gets called a fishing village anyway, which tells you most of what you need to know about how carefully anyone looks at it. It is nailed to the side of a hill so steep that the walk back from the ferry counts as a cardiac event, and water on three sides means there is exactly one road in, one road out, and no plausible way to leave in a hurry. The people who live here wanted Fowey and worked out that Fowey costs more and is full of people looking at Polruan. Getting the view instead of being the view is the whole trade, and it is a better deal than it sounds.
