Willand
Willand is what happens when a village gets adopted by a motorway junction and quietly decides it doesn't mind. The old bit is still there, a church and a few farmhouses keeping their heads down, but the town that grew up around them was built by people who wanted a driveway, a garage they could actually park in, and a straight run to the M5 without ever having to drive through Cullompton. Nobody moves here for the drama. They move here because the drama is twelve minutes away and they can leave whenever they like.
