Hughenden Valley
Hughenden Valley is where High Wycombe money goes to play at living in the countryside, three miles up the hill with the Chilterns as cover. Disraeli bought the manor so a Prime Minister could be a country squire at weekends, and the neighbours have run the same arrangement ever since, with a double driveway in place of the estate. The houses are big, mostly detached and owned by people who will tell you they came for the walks. They drive to the walks.
