Hersham
Hersham is a village so modest that its grandest addresses won't use its name. Burwood Park gives its address as Walton-on-Thames and lets the postman sort out the geography. The rest of the place gets a green, a supermarket and four trading estates, plus the golf club where Barnes Wallis designed the bouncing bomb, which is still the most dramatic thing ever planned beside a fairway in Surrey. You drive to Walton for clothes, and if you want a postcode with a bit more swagger, you just write Walton on the envelope.
