Totland

Totland is what happens when the Isle of Wight runs out of land and decides the polite thing to do is age gracefully into it. The Needles do most of the talking, the wind does the rest, and the loudest argument you'll hear is someone explaining to a tourist that yes, the bus does come, eventually, and no, you can't get a flat white at half past four. This is not Salcombe; nobody here is pretending it is, which is the single most attractive thing about the place.
